Jupiter's Legacy is an American superhero comic book series. Published by Image Comics, the series is written by Mark Millar, drawn by Frank Quitely, colored and lettered by Peter Doherty. Published as a series of eponymous limited series and interstitial prequel miniseries. The first volume was published in April 2013 and the second on Jun 29, 2016.
The first consists of five issues, following the world's greatest heroes who have grown old and their legacy is a poisonous one to the children who will never live up to their remarkable parents. The second also consist of five issues and follow Hutch and Chloe who have come out of hiding with son Jason to assemble a team of super-crooks from around the globe.

Synopsis[]
The comic-book event of 2013 finally arrives as superstar creators MARK MILLAR and FRANK QUITELY give us the superhero epic that all future comics will be measured by. The world's greatest heroes have grown old and their legacy is a poisonous one to the children who will never live up to their remarkable parents. Unmissable.
About[]
In January 2012 it was announced via CBR that Mark Millar superhero epic which he called "my Star Wars" had a name as Frank Quitely shared the first image from "Jupiter's Children."[1]On December 20, 2012, Jupiter's Children had been renamed "Jupiter's Legacy". They changed it to Jupiter's Legacy when they were still working on logos and decided to tweak the title while they still could.[2]
Mark Millar gave fans the opportunity to get their name in the comic by naming one of its major character after the winner of an auction. The effort raised $3,550, which will go to the St. Bartholomew’s Primary School Pantomime Fund to help send students in Glasgow, Scotland, to Christmas shows.[3][4] The guy who won this auction, was called Sheldon Sampson, which is the name of the main character The Utopian.[5]
The first issue of Jupiter's Legacy sold more than 105,000 copies to direct market stores in April.[6]
